The Victoria Inn has been awarded 2014 East Anglia Pub of the Year, just incase you hadn't heard!

We've never had a County Winner in the Branch, let alone Regional Winner and the Vic is now in the Final 16 for National Pub of the Year!!

At long last, the much anticpated and highly demanded brewery visit to Bishop Nick brewery in Braintree.
Meet North Station main entrance 1810 to sort out tickets then catch 1833 train. On arrival at Braintree it is about 10 minutes walk to brewery getting there about 1930.
We will leave on 2200 train arriving back in Colchester at 2240.

Come and join us for a Christmas bash in the Ale House.
Meet at The Blue Boar in New Town at 16:00 on Saturday 20th December for the first pint, and to allow everyone to gather.
Next stop is The Mermaid on Mersea Road, at 17:00 on the way into town, before arriving at The Clarence at around 18:00.
We will then continue our pub crawl on Butt Road by dropping in for a quick pint at The Royal at around 19:00 before finally joining the CAMRA Christmas Social at 20:00 at The Dragoon.
You can't have missed the Real Ale Calendar's popping up in pubs around Colchester, the girls are working hard on launches around our district to raise money for the Robin Cancer Trust.

Meet North station 11:30 for 11:47 train going to Wickham Market for... a model railway show ...optional, and probably the first time one has been included in a ColCAMRA day out!
Followed by a pint or two in the Dog And Duck by station. After we'll get a train back to Melton for pies etc... (excellent pies in Melton) then walk to Wilford Bridge pub for a pint (or two), then back to station and drop off at Manningtree for the station pub, before returning home.
