The first of what is planned to become a regular 'last Friday' pub crawl around Colchester. Designed to compliment our Real Ale Runabouts which visit our rural pubs the 'last Fridays' will visit the best that Colchester town has to offer.
The route for the first "Last Friday" will be as follows:
8:00pm Duchess, High Street
8:45pm Hole in the Wall, Balkerne Hill
9:30pm Kings Arms, Crouch Street
10:15pm Hospital Arms, Crouch Street andere.
Social trip to the Cliff Quay brewery tap and the Dove Street Inn in Ipswich.
Partly to present the awards for runners up in the Winter beer festival's Beer of the Festival competition and partly because they're both really great pubs and breweries!

A 90 minute session exclusively for Young Members (Under 30) who are keen on learning more about the various types of Real Ale, understand the differences between them, and how to appreciate a good pint. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the history of Real Ale, the ingredients used to make Real Ale and the brewing process.
