Whether you discover pubs you’ve not visited before, re-visit some you’ve not been to in a while or pop in your regular local we hope you enjoy seeing the wide range of pubs that North Essex has to offer.

We have a brewery tour booked at Mauldon's Brewery in Sudbury for the evening of Monday 23rd April. We will be travelling by minibus, departing from outide RBS on Head Street, Colchester at 6:30pm. The cost for the tour is £18, which includes your "three B's" - Bus, Beer and Buffet!
We are strictly limited to 20 places for this trip, so please book by emailing Dan Young: socialsec@colchestercamra.org.uk . Places are on a first come, first served basis and are expected to fill quickly!

Pub of the Year Prize Giving time again and it's the turn of our 2018 Rural POTY Winner - The Fantastic Community owned Black Buoy in Wivenhoe.
They're hosting their Annual Spring Beer Festival all 'May Day' Bank Holiday Weekend as well with loads of Ales, Ciders, Music, BBQ and all the Fun of the Fair!! On the Sunday afternoon we'll be presenting their Winners award to them at about 3.30pm - Everyone is Welcome so please come join us!!

It's that time of the year... Our annual Branch Christmas Social will be taking place from 7:30pm at the British Grenadier for all of those who would like to join us for a few beers and some festive spirit!
A trip to the Bermondsey 'Beer Mile', an area containing 16 breweries, tap rooms and bars. Please note that not all of the venues serve cask.
Meet at 9:50am to sort tickets for the 10:19am train andere. Journey will include bus replacement between Ingatestone and Newbury Park due to engineering works.

Did you know that May is Cider & Perry month for CAMRA?
With this in mind, why not join us for a pub crawl around half a dozen or so of Colchester's finest pubs while sampling some real ciders?
Starting in the Queen St Brewhouse at 12noon, we'll visit a few pubs before ending up in the 2019 Cider Pub of the Year, the Victoria Inn, just in time for the Cider POTY award presentation.
We have arranged a trip to Red Fox Brewery in Little Tey. Departing at approx 11:45am from Colchester, the trip will include a brewery tour, beer and food too!
