As per our selection procedures, 6 entries are up for grabs and these are all decided by your votes at this meeting.

2015 Rural POTY Presentation

The Community Owned BLACK BUOY Pub in Wivenhoe, has this year been voted Rural Pub of the Year, by our members.

This is a fantastic achievement for a pub that was saved from closure and the clutches of Punch Taverns and only reopened in Nov '13 manlig-halsa.se

There will be a short Branch Meeting followed by the presentation sometime after 8pm - Everyone Welcome!

2015 POTY Presentation - Victoria Inn

Winner of this years Branch POTY Competition is The Victoria Inn, North Station Road, Colchester

Presentation of the award to Sheena, Andrew and the Team will be at approx 6pm - in the Music Break

Gather from about 5pm and if there's any Branch or Campaign news to impart we'll have a short Branch Meeting, probably in the Beer Garden, if required.

May Branch Meeting & Members Evening - Colchester Real Ale & Cider Festival

Members Evening at our 30th Colchester Real Ale & Cider Festival.

Usual Format - a chance to preveiw some of the Beers & Ciders available, at competitive prices!

The only hardship is listening to some waffle from our Chairman for a few minutes!

7.30pm - 10.30pm - Please bring your Membership Card and Entrance will be via the Side Roadside Door

GBG Selection & Branch Meeting

This is the meeting where we select our entries for 2017 Good Beer Guide - Come and take part!!

There will also be the facility to vote online this year but if you prefer the old fashioned method, this is the meeting to be at!

All the "Fun of the Fair" of a usual Branch Meeting as well!!  :)

2.30pm start - Recommended Bus No.66 at the following times:

Branch Meeting Three Horseshoes, Wed 29th June, 8pm

This Months Branch Meeting takes place at The Three Horseshoes in Fordham.

 

We haven't been here for a meeting for a couple of years and with it recently being awarded ACV status, what better time!

 

Plus The Red fox Beers will be available at £3 per pint during June, to acknowledge CAMRA's assistance in gaining the ACV status.

 

We're running a bus, departing from outside Royal Bank of Scotland in Had Stret, Colchster. Departure time is 7pm.

Branch Meeting / GBG Selection Meting

If you haven't yet selected your 2018 Good Beer Guide Entries (from the list available soon after 2nd February) - then this is your chance!

 

3 (Three) Town & 6 (Six) Rural Pubs need to be selected to complete our entry for the 2018 GBG

 

This is an important process in which ALL Members are invited to take part - so if you fancy an afternoon at this fantastic pub in Rowhedge, please join us!!
