Branch meeting at the Oddie and the presentation of John's Town Pub of the Year Award
Branch meeting and presentation of the Pub of the Year award to Mitch. Neatly timed for the Thatcher's beer festival.
Come along for a preview of the festival. 7:30pm-10:30pm. Don't forget your CAMRA card.
If you'd like an even earlier preview of the festival then Monday is set up day from 8am - the more the merrier. Bring steel toe capped boots and protective gloves if you can, but there's plenty of lighter jobs to do too.
Supporting Community Pubs Month join us at the Layer Fox for a beer, wine and cheese quiz night.
The runabout minibuses will be available - watch this space for details.

We'll make use of the cheap Sunday Rover bus tickets for a meeting and pub crawl in Halstead. Route to be confirmed but will include The Griffin at 1.30pm. Meet at 12:30pm at Colchester Bus Station.

Branch meeting at the Three Horseshoes in Fordham and if you haven’t been there for a while then it’s most certainly worth a visit!
We’ll be providing transport (Cost £5 return) from outside Royal Bank of Scotland, Head Street, Colchester. Departing 7.15pm. You must pre-book - email bus.ale@colchestercamra.org.uk
Meeting starts at 8pm so if any of you would prefer to make your own way there, feel free!

This Years Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Colchester & North East Essex Branch of CAMRA, will be held at the Mersea Island Brewery/Vineyard, in their Courtyard Cafe, on Sunday 22nd September starting at 6pm prompt.
All Members are invited to attend and FREE Refreshments (Beer/BBQ) will be provided.
Branch meeting, social and pub crawl around Halstead. All Members welcome and it'd be fantastic to see as many local Halstead members as Possible!! Meet at Colchester Bus Station at 12:45pm to catch the bus to Halstead, making use of the cheap Sunday Rover tickets. We'll be heading for the Three Pigeons from 1.30pm ish to start with.
Our 7th Winter Beer Fest opens on Weds 29th January 2014 at Colchester Arts Centre.
Plenty of planning has been going on behind the scenes but this is the first Official Meeting.

So if you'd like a say in what goes in the Guide, feel free to pop along to this meeting at the Grennie.
It's Prize Giving Time!! The Victoria Inn has won our overall Pub of the Year Award for 2014.
Please join us from 8pm at The Vic as we present Sheena & Andy with their award.
We'll also have a quick roundup of what's happening in your local Branch.
