CycAle Ride to Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival
Ride to Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival.
We'll leave at 9:30am and roughly follow Route 1 from Colchester to Chelmsford with a small detour via Maldon for a pint in the Blue Boar. There's a short section of off-road right at the start of the ride which can be avoided for those who are only tarmac compatible. Slow-Medium 12-14mph pace but no-one gets left behind.
Arrive at the beer festival after midday.
Return by train.

The Sunday March 25th cycale ride will be to the White Horse at Edwardstone for lunch, with possible pub stops at Boxford, Sudbury, Henny Street, Lamarsh and Mount Bures. Total distance back to Colchester will be approx 45 miles, with optional returns by train from Sudbury (26 miles) or Bures (34 miles) for those who are knackered or prefer a shorter ride.
