
Held across both stations and on board the trains, the Real Ale & Cider Festival returns from 24 to 26 July.
- Up to 85 Real Ales and 25 Real Ciders, including some beer and cider served on board the trains
- Craft beer, gin & wine bar at Ongar station
- Heritage steam and diesel hauled train services in operation all three days - running until late evening Friday and Saturday
- Tickets offer unlimited travel on heritage train and bus services
- Music at set times on all three days.
This three-day festival combines great drink, steam trains, live entertainment and a fantastic family-friendly atmosphere. In partnership with CAMRA, well be serving an outstanding range of real ales, craft beers and traditional ciders, from well-loved favourites to unusual local brews waiting to be discovered.

Alongside the drinks, enjoy delicious food, live music and rides aboard our heritage trains through the beautiful Essex countryside. Leave the car at home! There is a connecting vintage London bus service from Epping station (London Underground Central Line, zone 6) and Shenfield on all days. This is included in your all day rover ticket, including the evening services.
