Taking advantage of the long days Jules is arranging a circular ride around Colchester. Come along and have a go.
Once a year we run an evening CYCale ride, aimed specifically at New Riders and Regulars. The route is predominantly on country roads.
This year we will be visiting The Fox-Layer de la Haye, Alma-Copford, Live and Let Live-Stanway, and finishing in the Hospital Arms-Colchester for those still thirsty.
The total distance is 13.8 miles, with the hops between pubs shorter as the evening rolls on. The first stage to The Fox is just over 4 miles.
So dig those bikes out of the shed, dust them down, pump up the tyres, oil the chain and check the lights work.
All riders are welcome and we will be riding at the pace of the slowest to encourage the New Riders.
Meeting place is outside the Brewers Arms / Phone Doctor at the bottom of Sheregate Steps/St Johns Street - 7pm
