Enjoy a range of real ales, craft beers and ciders, all within the picturesque surroundings of the museum. Sample an array of flavorful beers sourced from both East Anglian breweries and producers across the country. This popular festival in our medieval barn creates an unbeatable atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a pint!
There’s food and entertainment every day, as well as family activities on Sunday as part of the Stowmarket Food and Drink Festival.

Raise your glass, raise your voice, and raise the roof for the first ‘Beer & Hymns’ evening in St Leonard-at-the-Hythe church in 700 years!
The church organ will be playing full throttle, so fill your glass (a few times maybe) and sing your heart out to some classic hymns.
Come and sup cask beers from local breweries. There’ll be breaks to top up your glass, visit the BBQ and explore this wonderful mediaeval church.
Doors open 6pm – 9pm… free entry.

The 2024 Beer fest is going to run from 5pm on Thursday the 29th August and end on Sunday the 1st September.
A Twist of Abba will be performing on the Thursday night, on Friday Punch it Chewie are playing and finally Planet 9 on Saturday evening

Three Wise Monkeys & Other Monkey Brewing The Taproom have teamed up to bring you a massive Oktoberfest celebration across 2 venues… From Thursday 26th – Sunday 29th September they will be celebrating our annual Oktoberfest. They’ll have a tap takeover of authentic German beers, all available in Steins (while stocks last).
You’ll also be able to enjoy them in taster-racks or a two pint Stein. Food, prepared to compliment the Oktoberfest beers, will available throughout the weekend. Their Oktoberfest table platters will also be available throughout.
