Oktoberfest @ Datum Attitude Brewery

There will be music in ticketed sessions, this year they have something very very special planned in terms of the food (announcement on that soon) and a selection of Festbiers 

Things have changed for this year and it is a ticketed event on Friday evening & Saturday - they’ve had some questions on that…here’s the why’s… 

Last year, at times, they were over capacity and had to turn people away on the door, that’s not something they enjoyed doing or want to do again - this year if you’ve got tickets, you are in and you won’t feel like a sardine 

They had feedback suggesting it felt too busy for some customers on Saturday ticketing will naturally limit the number of people per session 

Sadly, they suffered a lot of thefts from our shop during the busy periods last Oktoberfest - handfuls of t-shirts, a huge amount of glassware, cans from the fridge - these were not our regular customers they were people who came just for the free event and who haven’t supported them before or again since 

You will all have heard the challenges hospitality is facing - costs have increased exponentially in the relatively short time they have been open, but they don’t want to put on half hearted events. They want every event to be as good or better than the last.

The ticket price includes fees to Eventbrite and your first drink.

There are times when you won’t need tickets - if you come on Friday afternoon or on Sunday (although they can’t guarantee what will be left by then)
